Baby Blues Suffer 5-3 Setback

The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish downed the Quebec City Baby Blues, 5-3, at Dylan Park. The Puffer Fish were led by John Harris. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Mario Noceda locked down his 19th save. Their 51-44 record puts the Puffer Fish 4th in the Premier Low A.
Plattsburgh used a clutch hit from William Martz to get the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Puffer Fish ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.
"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Martz told the Plattsburgh Gazette.
