Otters Rally to Eke Out Win
|
Quebec City got a valiant performance from pitcher Frank Randolf, but it wasn't enough to beat the Tulsa Otters. Tulsa won the game, 4-3. Randolf threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. Tulsa reliever George Gwyther picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Éric Lemaire was saddled with the loss. Tulsa now has a 3-game win streak.
The Otters procured the win, in large part because of second baseman Sergio Resendiz. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Resendiz.
