5-0 Loss to Baby Blues Extends Redwood Losing Streak
Quebec City starter Damon Colcott put a stranglehold on the Redwood offense. The right-hander had complete command of his curveball in leading the Baby Blues to a 5-0 win. Colcott got the win, improving to 5-6. He allowed 6 hits and walked 4 over 5.1 innings. Colcott allowed no runs. Redwood is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 8 in a row.

The game could have flipped with two out in the top of the fourth. But Damon Colcott made what his manager later called "an A-plus pitch." With the bases loaded and Redwood trailing 5-0, Colcott threw a curveball to Jon Cantrell and Cantrell flied out.
