The Tulsa Otters had to overcome a fine effort from Beaumont pitcher Milo Clark to grab a narrow 4-3 win at The Target. Clark went 8 innings and allowed 3 runs. Reliever Dudley Boyd picked up the win. His record improves to 7-1. Yok-sing Zhou took the loss. Earning his 6th save of the year was George Gwyther.

Tulsa used a timely hit from Curtis Wilson to get the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Otters ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

After the game, Tulsa manager Ken Beach applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.

The Otters now have a record of 37-41 with the win over Beaumont.
