Delegorsa Brilliant as Harbor Whales Top Puffer Fish, 3-2

The Greenport Harbor Whales topped the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 3-2, in USPL Low A action at Ballpark of Robbins. The game was highlighted by the performance of Greenport pitcher Jaime Delegorsa. Getting the save was Alfredo Maldonado, his 13th. The Harbor Whales raised their record to 31-32.
Delegorsa, the winner, is now 3-7 after putting the clamps on the Plattsburgh offense. In 7.1 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 1 hit, while collecting 10 Ks.
"I had a good game plan," said Delegorsa. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Tony Romero said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
