The home crowd had a good time watching the Tulsa Otters and Redwood Rhinos get after it.

Tulsa designated hitter Germán Salazar was sensational. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Redwood beat the Otters, 8-6. Rodrigo Romano earned the save for Redwood, his 1st of the year.

Redwood took a 8-6 lead on Rob Riley's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Tulsa pitcher Zhang Yue in the bottom of the eighth.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Riley told a Redwood Bulletin reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."

The victory puts Redwood at 14-47.
