Hudsonville second baseman Josh Miller had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Redwood Rhinos, 5-2. Hudsonville reliever Morgan Cartier picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Devaprasada Mainak shouldered the loss. Redwood is in the throes of a 14-game losing streak.

With Hudsonville leading 2-1 in the top of the sixth, Miller hit a 2-run single off Redwood hurler Hae-young Kim. It was the 51st hit of the season for Miller and put his team ahead, 4-1.

"The vibe's good," said Hudsonville manager Mark Davis. "We've got to keep it going."
