Terwey Slugs 2 Home Runs, Hounds Beat Crossbeaus, 7-3

The Hicksville Hounds defeated the Beaumont Crossbeaus, 7-3, at The Target today. Leading the charge for Hicksville was third baseman Franck Terwey. He was 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Domingo Gonzáles got the win, improving to 3-3. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 1. Hicksville occupies 9th place in the Premier Low A at 17-31.
Hicksville took a 5-2 lead on Terwey's 8th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Seppo Seppänen in the top of the sixth, propelled Hicksville to the win.
"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Hounds manager Oliver Burrell. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
