Hounds Win at Plattsburgh, 5-3
|
The Hicksville Hounds picked up a win at Plattsburgh Park, taking down the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 5-3. Starting pitcher Domingo Gonzáles was a big reason why. Jason Ford sewed up the save, his 7th. The Hounds sport a record of 14-29.
Hicksville relied on the hitting of Olvido Doesburg to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Hounds on top, 4-0. For the game, Doesburg had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Gonzáles said.
