Rhinos Deal Flanderses 4-2 Defeat
|
The Redwood Rhinos got a strong performance from pitcher Martín Ávila, who stymied the Hudsonville offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Hudsonville Park. Redwood is in last place in the Premier Low A with a record of 11-25.
In the top of the second, with Redwood leading 1-0, Gerardo Sotelo hit a fastball from Paul Montgomery for a run-scoring single, giving the Rhinos the lead, 2-0.
"I just try to put up zeroes," said Ávila, "and let the rest take care of itself."
