The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish got a stellar performance from pitcher Jerry Perry, who handcuffed the Quebec City offense en route to a win, 4-1, at Dylan Park. Perry, now 4-2, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. The win puts Plattsburgh at 19-13 this season.
Dale Wallace, who is tied for 8th in the PA- in extra base hits with 13, chipped in for Plattsburgh with a solo home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Plattsburgh manager Wallace James.
