The Quebec City Baby Blues beat the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish by a score of 7-4. Quebec City center fielder Monty Crawford deserved the lion's share of the credit. Crawford was 2 for 3 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Baby Blues. The triumph puts Quebec City at 23-8 for the season.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth when Crawford, who is rated as the 93rd best prospect by BNN, hit a grand slam home run. It propelled the Baby Blues into the lead, 6-2.
