Another Day, Another Win for Puffer Fish
|
Emílio Casas was a major contributor to the 7-3 Plattsburgh win over Tulsa. The Puffer Fish center fielder was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Plattsburgh, at 18-8, sits in third place in the Premier Low A.
Plattsburgh used the clutch hitting of Jesús Vega to snag the win. The right fielder drilled a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Puffer Fish ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.
"We'll keep riding this wave as long as we can," said Puffer Fish manager Wallace James.
