Puffer Fish Get Past Beaumont for 2-1 Win
The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish electrified the crowd with a walk-off win.

The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish topped the Beaumont Crossbeaus, 2-1, in USPL Low A action at Plattsburgh Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Plattsburgh pitcher Jerry Perry. Plattsburgh reliever Su-hyeon Song was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Pavel Ofitserov took the loss.

Dale Wallace was the walk-off hero for Plattsburgh. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Puffer Fish shortstop hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"We're just feeding off each other right now," said Perry.

The third-place Puffer Fish have won 9 straight.
