The Huntington Hermit Crabs downed the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 14-4, at Seahwaks Stadium. Mike Baxter led the way, going 2-for-3 for Huntington. Their 57-28 record puts the Hermit Crabs second in the Premier A.

Huntington third baseman Tim Lowry contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the second. With two down, he hit a slider into center field for a 2-run single. It was his 16th hit of the season and put the Hermit Crabs ahead, 2-0.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Huntington manager Mike Evans.
