Seahawks Absorb 3-2 Loss at Hawks Field
|
Laredo starter Ignacio Rodríguez had a strong outing against the Myrtle Beach Seahawks at Hawks Field. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Silvian Esser earned the save for Laredo, his 19th of the year. At 39-42, the Hawks are currently 7th in the Premier A.
Frans Teijer had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Laredo. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Laredo in front, 3-0.
"Ignacio just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Laredo manager Marv Bradford.
