Quebec City Baby Blues starter Ignacio Rodríguez turned in an exceptional performance against the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish at Plattsburgh Park, resulting in a Quebec City win, 6-1. The Puffer Fish fall to 5-7 and continue to sputter in the early going.

Rodríguez gave Quebec City a solid start. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 5 hits over 8.1 innings.

"Ignacio was throwing strikes, locating well," said Quebec City manager Troy Grant.
