The Beaumont Crossbeaus topped the Redwood Rhinos by a score of 16-6. Leading the way was right fielder Ken Trowsdale. Trowsdale was 2 for 3 with a home run, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 5 runs and driving in 2 for the Crossbeaus. Beaumont pitcher Seppo Seppänen got the win, upping his record to 2-0. Rodrigo Romano got the loss. Redwood is 2-7 after the loss.

Jun-seok Kyo, the 18-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Kyo contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put Beaumont up, 4-2.
