Otters Stick Hounds with 3-1 Loss
|
Wan-hua Yi pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Hicksville Hounds, despite Yi's fine outing, dropped a 3-1 decision to the Tulsa Otters at Ballpark of Hughesville. Marcus Weaver got credit for the save for Tulsa. It was his 2nd of the year. Tulsa has a record of 2-5.
Bryan Jacobs tagged a home run off Wan-hua Yi in the bottom of the sixth. His solo blast put the Otters on top, 2-1. In all, Jacobs had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
"This was a tough loss," said Hicksville manager Oliver Burrell. "It'll stick in my craw for a while."
