Puffer Fish Get One-Run Win at Redwood
Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the Redwood Rhinos home opener. Jorge López started for the home team against Mario Hernández for the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish. The Rhinos were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 4-3, Plattsburgh. Fakhiri Abdul-Hakim, though, was impressive.

In the top of the first of a scoreless game, Abdul-Hakim hit a 2-run home run to put his team ahead.

"I really like what we did out there today," Abdul-Hakim said after the game.
