Seahawks Beat Tula, 6-1
|
In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
Myrtle Beach starter Dave Bass pitched well against the Chicago Tula at Ramblers Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-1. Bass went 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 1 hit, walked 5, and struck out 8. His record improves to 5-0.
The tide might have turned in the bottom of the fifth, had not Dave Bass made a big pitch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and the Tula trailing 5-0, he retired Brian Headon when the Chicago left fielder struck out.
The Seahawks now have a record of 31-26 with the win over Chicago.
