Right-hander Kevin Ashe mesmerized the Huntington Hermit Crabs while leading the Laredo Hawks to a 5-0 victory. The Hawks, now 24-29, have won 4 in a row.
In the top of the seventh, Jorge Costa stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Hermit Crabs were trailing 5-0, but had the bases loaded. That's when Santiago Díaz made a terrific pitch and Costa lined out. Gone was the dream of a Huntington comeback.
