Chukars Rally For Late Win Over Arryns
|
Lake Erie wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Luis Martínez, falling to the Idaho Falls Chukars, 4-2. Martínez threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Their 20-18 record puts the Chukars 5th in the Premier A.
Oliver Maisanaba, who is tied for 7th in the PA in doubles with 9, aided the Idaho Falls cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth. For the game, the first baseman drove in one run.
"We put together a nice win," Maisanaba said.
