The Gallos grabbed a win, 5-4, at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Monroeville pitcher Jayden Mcquade. Mcquade went 9 innings and allowed 4 runs. The winner in relief was Brent Watson. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4.1 innings. He now owns a record of 3-2. The Gallos now own a record of 42-40.

Delmarva used the clutch hitting of Jim Mitchell to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a solo home run in the top of the 15th inning to put the Gallos ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"There's no quit in this team," said Gallos manager Phil Baker.
