Lake Erie rode a decent outing from starter Bobby Williams to victory over the Eugene Vandals. The final score was 6-4. Emery Kehler picked up the save for Lake Erie, his 4th of the year. Lake Erie now has a record of 7-8.

Lake Erie used the clutch hitting of Bill Strong to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Arryns the lead, 5-4. For the game, Strong had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
