Francisco Encarnación never let the Gallos get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his forkball, to pitch the Blaze to a win, 4-0. Jeff Cook recorded the save for South Beach, his 7th of the season. The Blaze lead the Silver A by 2½ games.

Koji Sugisata, the 22-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Sugisata contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put South Beach up, 3-0.

"We've got a great group of guys," Encarnación said, "and we're having fun right now."
