Seahawks Pull Off Thrilling 6-3 Win in Extras
|
The Myrtle Beach Seahawks topped the Eugene Vandals, 6-3, with youngster Ke-huy Dun playing a key role. Dun was 1-1 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Seahawks in the win. The winner was Sergio Rocha in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Sjaak Kiene took the loss. With the loss, Eugene sinks to 1-10.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 15th. With one out, Dun hit a fastball from Sjaak Kiene for a 3-run home run. The Seahawks, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"We didn't go down without a fight," said Eugene manager Aaron Barnes.
