Lake Erie beat Idaho Falls at Idaho Falls Park, escaping with a 5-4 win. The win in large part was due to first baseman John Dye. He was 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Idaho Falls now is 4-2.

In the top of the fifth, with Lake Erie leading 1-0, center fielder Bill Strong hit a 2-run single. The hit came off Francis Bumble and put the Arryns ahead, 3-0.
