The Laredo Hawks opened their 2050 season with a disappointing 5-4 loss to the Smoky Mountain Hobeaus at Hawks Field. Second Baseman O-min Yi was a big part of the win for Smoky Mountain. He was 2 for 4 with a triple. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Douggie Westcott notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.2 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. The save went to Alex Thompson, number 1 for him.
