Blue Dragons Absorb 4-2 Loss at The Coffin
|
A 3-RBI performance from José Sánchez, who is tied for 7th in the SA with a .430 slugging percentage, helped the Grim Reapers beat the Levittown Blue Dragons, 4-2. Carlos Vidro got the win, improving to 4-3. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 4. Steve O'Bryan got credit for the save for Grim. It was his 2nd of the year.
With Grim leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Sánchez hit a fastball from Ted Browning for a 2-run triple. It was his 5th triple of the season and put the Reapers ahead, 3-0.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Sánchez said.
Grim, at 25-34, sits in 9th place in the Silver A.
