Yellows Deal Jets Painful Loss
The Kennesaw Jets got a superb performance from pitcher Hideyoshi Sasaki. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Yucca Valley. The Yellows won the game, 5-4. Sasaki threw 6.1 innings of 1-hit ball. Yucca Valley reliever José Vargas picked up the win to move to 3-1. Kyle Young suffered the loss. Yucca Valley is now 23-20.

The Yellows were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when center fielder Miguel Angel Ibáñez turned a full count fastball from Kyle Young into a 2-run double. The walk-off double electrified the Ballpark of Yucca Valley denizens and sent the Yellows home with a thrilling 5-4 win.

"This wasn't a good win," said Ibáñez. "It was a great win."
