Walleye Come Back Late to Clip Manatees
The Walla Walla Walleye picked up a win at Fuller Park, courtesy of Pablo Gonzáles. The right-hander helped his team stop the Matlacha Manatees, 3-2. The save went to Pete Jones, number 4 for him. The Walleye now have a record of 20-15.

Walla Walla used the timely hitting of George Jones to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Walleye on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Matlacha manager John McGrath. "The effort was great."
