Yucca Valley Yellows starter Alan Sanderson was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Matlacha Manatees, 4-1. The win moves Yucca Valley to a record of 5-1.

Yucca Valley center fielder Miguel Angel Ibáñez contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball into center field for a 2-run single. It was his 8th hit of the season and put the Yellows ahead, 3-1.

"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Sanderson.
