Scott K's 10 En Route to 5-1 Blaze Win
|
Donald Scott was locked and loaded, helping the South Beach Blaze beat the Kennesaw Jets, 5-1. Jeff Floyd, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. Kennesaw falls to 0-5.
Scott, who dominated for South Beach, earned the victory to move to 1-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 10. Kennesaw batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"I just made my pitches," said Scott, "and the ball kept missing the bat."
