Thunder Hawks Ballpark was the site for USPL Double A action featuring the Gulf Coast Turbeaus and Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks.

The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks bested the Gulf Coast Turbeaus by a score of 8-4, with third baseman Joshua Sheppard getting the main credit. On the day, Sheppard was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Thunder Hawks. Scott Smith notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. His record now sits at 4-4.

Ft. Polk South took a 8-4 lead on Dale McKee's 10th home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Gulf Coast pitcher Luis Barrios in the bottom of the eighth.
