Thunder Hawks Get Past Crescent City for 4-3 Win
|
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks racked up a win at Field of the Krewe, bumping off the Crescent City Krewe, 4-3. Bartolo Márquez, who started for Ft. Polk South, pitched effectively for his team. Valentín Jiménez earned the save, his 9th. The Thunder Hawks improve their record to 42-51 with the win over Crescent City.
Eric Fisher contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the sixth. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a sacrifice fly. It was one at-bat that helped Ft. Polk South get the win.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Crescent City manager David Martínez said following the tough loss.
