|
Richland used a superb performance from starting pitcher Will Hankins to down the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 4-1. Richland, with the win, climbs to 32-60.
In the bottom of the fifth, Richland left fielder Blake Gordon had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and one out, Gordon stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 2-1, Richland. For the game, he went 1 for 2 with a walk.
Gordon called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
