Fans watched the Richland Rails and the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks fight to the finish.

Starting pitcher Pepe Montoya pitched well enough to help the Richland Rails beat the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 5-4. The save went to Juan Trujillo, number 17 for him.

Júlio Martínez drove in one run for Richland. In the top of the eighth, with the teams deadlocked, 4-4, Martínez delivered for the Rails. His run-scoring sacrifice fly put Richland on top, 5-4.

"This was a good win," said Martínez.

The triumph makes Richland 31-59.
