The Ithaca Fighting Imps knocked off the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis, 5-4, at Imps Park. Bob Bray was a big reason Ithaca won. The second baseman was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs. Bill Strain got the win, improving to 6-9. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 9 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 1. At 43-46, Ithaca is in 4th place in the Premier AA.

Bray contributed in the bottom of the third. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Ithaca get the win.
