António Macías helped his team muscle past the New Orleans Voodoo, 7-1. In the game, the Mississippi third baseman was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The win gives the Mockingbirds a record of 6-4.

Mississippi used the bat of Ai-de Lau to capture the win. The center fielder jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Mockingbirds ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
