Hollywood Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The 2050 season is off to a good start for the Hollywood Shredders. The hometown Shredders dumped the New Orleans Voodoo, 5-4, at The Hollywood Bowl. Jake White spearheaded the win. He went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. The win belongs to Tom DeHart in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Anthony Hurst took the loss for New Orleans.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Hollywood shortstop Mitsuoki Sugimoto, facing Anthony Hurst, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Shredders the 5-4 win.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Sugimoto said.
