Ft. Polk South picked up a win at Thunder Hawks Ballpark, bumping off the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis, 6-3. Pitcher Teddy Barnes was a major reason the Thunder Hawks emerged victorious. The Thunder Hawks improve their record to 33-41 with the win over Nuevo Mexico.

Making an impact for Ft. Polk South was first baseman José Hernández. He drilled a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, Hernández went 2 for 5 with 2 singles.
