Stephen Ledesma was a vital contributor to the 4-3 Nuevo Mexico victory over Richland. The Mariachis second baseman was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Picking up the win was António Pineda. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits. The left--hander struck out 6 and walked 2. Picking up the save was Francisco Pacheco, his 16th.

The game turned with two out in the top of the sixth when Ledesma hit a run-scoring single. It propelled the Mariachis into the lead, 4-3.
