Richland and Ithaca duked it out and the Rails came out victorious.

The Richland Rails bested the Ithaca Fighting Imps by a score of 7-5, with shortstop Júlio Martínez getting the main credit. On the day, Martínez went 3-4 with 3 singles for the Rails. The winner in relief was Todd Wilcox. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3.2 innings. He now owns a record of 3-1. Juan Trujillo closed the door for Richland, picking up his 12th save of the year.

Having an impact for Richland was Doug Randall. In the top of the fifth inning, the 26-year old right fielder had a run-scoring ground out to make the score 5-3, Rails.
