Fighting Imps Suffer 4-2 Loss to Krewe
|
Crescent City rode a good effort from starter Dave Farris to beat the Ithaca Fighting Imps at Field of the Krewe. The final score was 4-2. Farris got the win, improving to 5-3. He allowed 4 hits and walked 3 over 5 innings. Farris allowed 1 run. Crescent City, at 34-16, is 3 games up in the Premier AA.
Shawn Franklin had a big hit for Crescent City in the bottom of the second inning. With Crescent City leading 1-0, Franklin hit a 2-run double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Krewe up, 3-0.
Franklin called the triumph "a good team win."
