Fighting Imps Deal Mariachis 7-4 Setback
The Ithaca Fighting Imps stopped the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis, 7-4, at Imps Park. The Fighting Imps got a big game from Takeo Okamoto, who went 2 for 3 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Bill Strain picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-3. He struck out 2 in 8 innings. Mario Méndez was credited with the save for Ithaca, his 12th of the season.
