Krewe Stay Hot with Extra-Inning Win

The Crescent City Krewe had to overcome a good performance from Olympia pitcher Roberto Sánchez to claim a 3-1 win at The Ogre Den. Sánchez went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 run. The win was credited to Melis Ooyendijk in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Tu-chin Pak took the loss. The first-place Krewe have won 7 straight.
Crescent City used a clutch hit from Kun Chieu to get the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Krewe ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"The vibe's good," said Crescent City manager David Martínez. "We've got to keep it going."
