Krewe Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
|
The Gulf Coast Turbeaus got a superb performance from pitcher Zhong-shu Ang, but the Crescent City Krewe still won the game, 3-2. Ang threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Crescent City, at 21-12, sits in first place in the Premier AA.
Andrés Torres clinched the win with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth. In the game, the Crescent City first baseman went 1-3 with a walk.
"Exhilarating win," said Torres.
