Getting an impressive start from Bill Strain, Ithaca beat Olympia by the score of 2-0. The winner was Willis Petersen in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Roberto Palomina took the loss. The Fighting Imps, at 15-14, sit in 5th place in the Premier AA.
Paul Gonzáles hit a run-scoring double off Roberto Palomina in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Fighting Imps in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Gonzáles had 1 single, while going 2 for 3.
