Butler Throws 4-Hitter En Route to 6-1 Whales Win
George Butler was locked and loaded, helping the Virginia Beach Whales beat the Crescent City Krewe, 6-1. The 9th-place Whales raised their record to 11-15.

Butler, a native of Sacramento, California, was dealing all game. He kept Crescent City hitters off-balance, while giving the Whales 9 quality innings. Butler threw 106 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 7.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Butler.
